These realistic predator kites beat their wings, bank on the air and soar to new heights emulating a bird in flight.
From a distance it is hard to distinguish a real bird from one of these kites. 

Ideal for orchards and vineyards as a bird deterrent, they also encourage other predator birds.

Each kit includes a bird kite, telescopic fibreglass pole, pole mounting bracket, windsock arm, pole ring and 2 metre cord for flying as a windsock.

Bird scare kite

When it arrived we thought the kite felt a bit flimsy, but we assembled it and have flown it for the last couple of weeks including in some fierce winds. It performs well and shows it is incredibly robust. It works for our thrush problem, but for some reason the masses of swallows we have seem unconcerned.
